One customer is very disappointed. He said the the door on the SentrySafe DS3410 Black Fire-Safe 1.2-Cubic Foot Combination Safe is sloppy after being opened just a couple of times. The handle is also loose and doesn’t stay horizontal when closed. The combination dial sticks in spots and the buyer has serious doubts that this safe could handle a fire. He said that he would return it, if he had the energy to deal with the hassle.

Another reviewer said that the overall quality of the safe is very good and just as described. Very different from the other buyers experience with the SentrySafe DS3410.  It is quite heavy so thieves can’t just take off with it, the key and the dial are very user friendly and never stick. He also likes that there are no batteries required, because if a fire should happen no electronics can be melted. The customer is so happy with his Sentry DS3410 that he recommended it to his mother as well and as a side note, he said that you should register on the website for the safe in case you lose your key or combination or if something should happen to you and others would need to gain access to the safe.
